Procedure
1 | Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and rub with sake. Coat with potato starch. |
2 | Fry in oil heated to 170°C for 4 minutes, then increase to 190°C and fry for 1 minute. |
3 | In a pot, combine garlic paste, ginger paste, soy sauce, sugar, ketchup, sake, mirin, and water. Bring to a boil. |
4 | Add the chicken and simmer over low heat until coated. Turn off the heat, add white sesame seeds, and mix. |
5 | *For adults, add gochujang at the end and adjust to your preferred spiciness. |
