Procedure

1 Break the spaghetti into thirds, boil, then toss with one-third of the ketchup (mixing a small amount of ketchup into the spaghetti helps the flavors blend better throughout).
2 Cut the carrot, onion, and bell pepper into short, thin strips.
3 Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the vegetables from step 2 well. Once softened, add the ground pork and salt and pepper, then stir-fry. Add ketchup and simmer to reduce the acidity.
4 Combine the ingredients from steps 1 and 3.
5 【Cooking Note】Sautéing the vegetables thoroughly and simmering the ketchup to reduce its acidity creates a sweet, rich flavor even with light seasoning.
