Macaroni salad

Procedure
1 | Boil macaroni for 3 minutes longer than indicated on the package. |
2 | Drain the macaroni using a strainer, cool them under running water, and drain again. |
3 | Cut the carrot, the cabbage and the cucumber into julienne strips. Cut the ham in half and cut long and thin. Drain the canned corn. |
4 | Boil the carrots for 3 minutes. Boil the cabbage for 3 minutes as well. Boil the cucumber and ham for 1 minute. Drain the vegetables using a strainer, cool them under running water, and drain again. Squeeze to drain water from vegetables. |
5 | Wipe the moisture off the macaroni with paper towel. |
6 | Mix the macaroni, the vegetables and the seasonings. |
Memo | Of particular importance in this salad is this Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise.Kewpie mayo is a creamy Japanese mayonnaise made with lots of egg yolks. I recommend buying Japanese mayonnaise as it is very flavorful. |
