Procedure

1 Wash rice, add the same amount of water as rice to rice cooker and soak for at least 30 minutes.
2 Cut the carrots into Julienne.
3 Line a frying pan with frying foil and turn on the heat. When the pan is warm, put the fish on it.
4 Grill the fish on both sides over medium heat, rolling it around.
5 Add seasonings to rice cooker and mix well all together. Put the carrots, the green onions, and the fish on top of the rice, in that order, and cook rice.
6 When cooked, mix everything together while pick apart the fish.
7 *If using common raw fish, remove bones before mixing.
8 *Sardines or mackerel can be substituted for pacific saury.
