Procedure
1 | Wash rice, add the same amount of water as rice to rice cooker and soak for at least 30 minutes. |
2 | Cut the carrots into Julienne. |
3 | Line a frying pan with frying foil and turn on the heat. When the pan is warm, put the fish on it. |
4 | Grill the fish on both sides over medium heat, rolling it around. |
5 | Add seasonings to rice cooker and mix well all together. Put the carrots, the green onions, and the fish on top of the rice, in that order, and cook rice. |
6 | When cooked, mix everything together while pick apart the fish. |
7 | *If using common raw fish, remove bones before mixing. |
8 | *Sardines or mackerel can be substituted for pacific saury. |
