Procedure

1 Soak the wakame in water, finely chop it, then boil and rinse under cold running water to cool. Thinly slice the onion lengthwise into half-inch strips.
2 Cut the roast pork into 5mm cubes and stir-fry in a pan (or bake in the oven). Briefly boil the corn, then rinse under cold running water to cool (if using canned corn, no heating is needed; just drain).
3 Add water to a pot. Once boiling, add the onion and seasonings. Simmer until tender. Let the broth cool.
4 Cut the noodles crosswise and boil them. Rinse under cold running water to remove excess saltiness.
5 Place the noodles in a bowl, pour the broth over them, and top with the ingredients.
