Procedure

1 Add the usual amount of water to the rice and soak for at least 30 minutes.
2 Blanch the carrots briefly, then puree them in a food processor (or grate them raw).
3 Add the pureed carrots and seasonings to the rice, mix well, and cook.
4 Once cooked, mix everything together (letting it steam helps the flavors blend).
5 [Cooking Note] The saltiness of the seasonings can inhibit water absorption, so always soak the rice first and add the seasonings just before cooking.
