| 1 | Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them thickly into half-moons. Finely chop the green onions. | 
| 2 | Bring the dashi (broth) to a boil in a pot, add the sweet potatoes and green onions, and simmer. | 
| 3 | Once tender, stir in the miso paste. |
